Finally, my Arashi goods from yesasia.com arrived last week. I got two singles and a concert DVD. The singles are Sakura, and 青空の下、キミのとなり [あおぞら の した、 きみ の となり] [Aozora no Shita, Kimi no Tonari], which appears to be something about being next to you under the blue sky, and is the theme for Aiba’s latest drama. While watching my "Scene" Concert DVD again I've finally decided to sate my curiosity as to the English writing on the back of the boy's jackets towards the end of Disc 1. Ohno, Aiba and Sho were easy. Nino and Jun were a bit more difficult to catch, but I think I got it in the end:

You wouldn't think something so short would cause problems, but really you get more context in a larger piece of work... not that that would help me much!

Recently bought the Beautiful World tour DVD, singles Wild at Heart (ワイルドアットハート) and Face Down and the Arashi photo book Nippon no Arashi (ニッポンの嵐). I can’t actually read the book, but there are a lot of pictures and one day I’ll have a go at translating something… someday… it’s a goal to aspire to, that and my Deadlock books!

Last Saturday ( 16th July), I finally received Arashi’s new album Beautiful World and the special edition Kimi to Boku no Miteiru Fukei (Tokyo Dome) concert DVD.

I have both concert DVDs for this tour and if I had know there was a special Tokyo Dome edition coming out I wouldn’t have pre-ordered the first DVD, but now I’m glad I did because while ( Read more... )

Today my 嵐 Arashi CD 果てない空 (はてない そら ~ Hatenai Sora) arrived from yesasia.com, It means Endless Sky or something similar.

I like the Christmas song best, あの日のメリークリスマス (Ano Hi no Meri- Kurisumasu / Ano Hi no Merry Christmas), but that could change as I haven’t had a really good listen yet ( Read more... )
