嵐 Beautiful World Concert DVD (extra disc title) Translation Attempt

You wouldn't think something so short would cause problems, but really you get more context in a larger piece of work... not that that would help me much!

At the moment, I'm never really sure which way round things should go grammar wise, I was terrible at English (British) grammar before I started trying to learn Japanese, and I'm not much better now.

It's a small comfort that at least some of that is because I'm ill. It's incredibly frustrating wanting to learn and feeling like your head is so stuffed with cotton wool that there isn't much room for anything else, don't get me started on the tiredness!

But, it's fun and I like to try.

Here's the translation attempt...

Context: Arashi did a one off 'Waku Waku' show, (at the Tokyo stadium Kokuritsu, I think), which was taped and added in as an extra disc to the Beautiful World Concert Tour DVD. Each member presented one lesson
talking about, and demonstrating, a particular subject. Nino's 'lesson' was doki doki and all about the heart; Jun's was electricity, Ohno's communication, Aiba's cooking and Sho's water conservation.

The subtitle puts 'every day' as the subject of the sentence by using the subject marker が, so in the translation I've tried to keep it that way too as it would be easy to think that the emphasis is on the 5 lessons.

I've probably got it wrong, it's all very confusing:

I so wanted to use sparkle rather than shine for this, but thought shine was a better fit!

Now, I know a title and subtitle isn't much to translate, but honestly I'm over the moon when I recognise a word, let alone sort of puzzle out a sentence!

Tiny Happy Steps!

嵐のワクワク格好
「あらしわくわくがっこう」

毎日がもっと輝くつの授業
「まいにちがもっとかがやくいつつのじゅぎょう」。

Arashi's Exciting School

Every day shine more with these five lessons.

I also liked 'Shine more every day with these five lessons', but wasn't sure if that changed the subject of the sentence from focusing on 'every day', I shoved in the 'with these' bit in as I thought it sounded better than just every day, shine more five lessons :) Sometimes I make things up as I go along. I'll figure out if it's appropriate one day!  :)

I thought that if I broke the DVD subtitle into the parts that I think belong with each other it would help me figure out the correct way to translate it:

毎日が --- もっと輝く --- 5つの授業。
「まいにちが --- もっとかがやく --- いつつのじゅぎょう」。
Every day --- shine more --- 5 lessons.

Not sure if the above is right, but I'm sure I'll come across the correct translation on the internet somewhere soon!

Words:

毎日 【まいにち】 (n-adv,n-t)
every day, (P)

もっと (adv)
more, longer, further, (P)

輝く 【かがやく】 (v5k)
to shine, to glitter, to sparkle, (P)

五つ 【いつつ】 (n)
five, (P)

授業 【じゅぎょう】 (n,vs)
lesson, class work, (P)

(Mostly from JWPce software dictionary and Belitz paperback dictionary)

Translation ideas:

-Google check: 5 lessons each day to shine more

-Every day, shine more with these five lessons.

-Shine more every day with these five lessons.
