last night after we all went to sleep, Kay kept snuggling up to me on the futon. i usually put my arm around her, but i felt that she was awfully hot around the neck. since our nights are pretty hot, i didn't think too much about it, but in the morning after she woke up crying, i immediately knew that my baby had a fever. it was up around 39.6 ( Read more... )

finally! her fever has subsided after four days of burning up. although, she's got a case of roseola, but that will clear up in a few days according to her doctor. he said to just let it take its course, and there shouldn't be any problems except for a possible chance of an upset stomach. she does have a small case of diarrhea, but i guess this ( Read more... )

just when i thought things were getting better, i woke up this morning and realized Kay was burning up. i took her temperature and literally jumped when i saw 38.9 centigrade on the ear thermometer! it's the highest fever she's ever had, so i freaked out a little bit. i took her to the clinic, and her doc said that it wasn't the enterovius ( ( Read more... )
