omg, the summer here has been scorching hot!  i don't remember it being this hot last year!!  it's been a constant 35 C, and next week, it'll just get even hotter!  there have been news reports of people and children suffering from heat stroke and heat exhaustion left and right.  hubs just told me about an old man (over 60 something) in the news ( Read more... )

despite that my ALT job is on summer break right now, i'm still working in the mornings.  instead of running off to different schools, i'm just going to ACB (my current employer) and doing their summer school program right now.  basically, it's like a summer camp, so there's more fun going on than actual learning.  :P ( Read more... )

lol, i wrote on an introduction for myself at one of my ALT job's school papers that i write a blog daily.  psssh!  ^_^;; forget that!  sigh... not that there hasn't been anything happening, my time has just been managed to the point where the usual 2-3 hours i normally spend on writing a blog has been allocated to sleep or prep work for my classes ( Read more... )

Saturdays are my busiest days since i have back to back jobs and i'm just teaching non-stop from 9:00-5:00.  okay, i've got a 90 min. break after 11:45, but half of that is spent on commuting from one job to the next, 15 min. is spent scarfing down some sort of lunch, and the other 30 min. is left to pre-class prep and catching my breath before ( Read more... )
