I talked to my aunt a little while ago and she updated us on how my grandfather's doing.  He had his surgery, where they put a nail and a screw in his hip, and he is now in recovery.  When we talked to her, the anesthesia hadn't started wearing off yet, but my other aunt had talked to him, and they say he's doing pretty well.  I guess they didn't ( Read more... )

My aunt just called to tell us that earlier today my grandfather fell down and broke his hip.  He's in the hospital and will have surgery tomorrow.  I'm hoping everything will turn out fine, since even though he's 90, he's in incredibly good health.  He had a mild stroke a couple of years ago and bounced back really well from that, so hopefully ( Read more... )
