Random stuff (and a to do list)
Woohoo, I'm over half way done with NaBloPoMo! But that means it's almost December. So, boo to that.
Another boring day today (my LJ is just riveting reading, I know). I had plans to start cleaning and organizing, but that fell through. I think I'll try to do a little before bed, since I am not tired. Maybe try to find my tape recorder for Dad, since he wants to use it at his yoga class tomorrow. They're apparently going over all the positions they learned, and Dad wants to tape them so he can more easily remember them. Now, if I could just find my recorder in all this junk...
I also picked out a bunch more stuff to order for my beading. I've got my Secret Pal's gift all planned out, which rules. I'm going to use some clear quartz, some garnet, and maybe some smoky quartz. The pieces I picked out in the catalog are gorgeous, and if Mom ever gets around to ordering them, I just know it's going to turn out great. Will definitely post pictures when I'm done.
I talked to my aunt today, and it looks like my grandfather is improving every day. They are interviewing a home care nurse tomorrow so they can get someone in to take care of my grandmother while granddaddy's unable to. Also, my uncle is having my grandparents' house cleaned for them, which is really awesome. It could use a good cleaning anyway, and this way granddaddy won't have to worry about that at all. As of now, it looks like everything's going very well with him; I'm really pleased. We're going to call him tomorrow after dinner, so I'll get to hear firsthand how he's doing.
I think I'll end this by posting a list of what I need to accomplish this week. Maybe if I see it in writing (and can then cross it off), it will help me actually get it done. So, here's what I need to do:

- Clean Room (at least some of it)
- Clean Kitchen by Saturday (day we're doing Thanksgiving) this was largely unsuccessful, but the kitchen was uncluttered enough to cook in, so that's kind of okay
- Call about my Election Day paycheck and why I haven't gotten it yet called, yes, but I still don't know when I'm getting the check
- Find Tape Recorder was in my desk drawer, although I swear I looked there yesterday
- Find beads I bought two years ago that went missing
