So last night I felt the cold coming on. I literally felt it hit my throat, and start dragging me down. So I took a good swig of nightquil and went to bed to read and then pass out. I have long wanted a book written by vault men. They tell the best stories, see the strangest stuff. They are usually at the funeral from beginning to end, except for filling the grave. So my FIL showed me some pictures of a little cemetery that they had stumbled upon, and it was full of old slate stones. (well, full but small). I checked it out on Findagrave, and lo and behold there were only two entries in the cemetery. So I have not been so good at adding to the database of the 1940 census, but on the other hand I have been adding to the Find a Grave site. Somehow it's more fun. I can only do one page every half hour on the census, and some of the writing is so horrible that it can be very frustrating. Wow... 200 years ago. I didn't even make the connection till I heard that on the radio today. They had a piece on about who the Governor of MA was a pacifist and basically didn't want to fight. The holiday is over. I spent the weekend in other people's cemeteries, and I can say we done good! The local Catholic cemetery was all mowed, for a change, but they have a company come in and do it, and they pay no attention to things like flat makers.
