Hiccups

Jul 30, 2012 07:55

Gizmo... I can't think of her LJ name, wait, no Sushi... lol she hasn't posted in a while here... reminded me of hiccups on FB today, and I meant to post that while I've lost 6 pounds on WW so far, I have not had the hiccups. Now, any time I've ever lost any weight int he past, I've always suffered from repeated bouts of hiccups. It's something to do with the shrinking of my stomach I think. It changes whatever and lends it to be hiccupy. Well, the other day I hicked.... just once and then it was done. Otherwise no hiccups. Strange.

Ryther is also doing well. He has lost about 8 lbs so far. Even with some bad indiscretions. But he's a guy, and he's always had that high metabolism. Men SUCK! Women have to work their asses off and starve to lose weight. Most men just have to cut back and sit on their asses and the weight falls off. Thank you evolution. Well, at least we live longer.

Not sure if I posted about Jesus. I sent the Jesus carving to a man I met on FB, and he sent me a book from 1939? about Forest Lawn Cemetery in LA. It's really neat. Has a huge collection of statuary and stained glass. Not a cemetery I would want to be in because they have few stones (apparently they frown on individual stones). I really didn't need him to send me anything and I'm not sure what I'm going to do with this booklet, it's pretty big, like an old Life magazine. And while I am enjoying looking at it... I don't really want it. Not to keep. Kind of like the Jesus I sent... It's neat, I liked it but what am I going to do with it? I just have so little space these days that I try not to acquire too much more good useless shit. I don't want it to get ruined on my watch. But I think I would totally offend the giver if I sent it back. So I'll keep it and share it with people who might enjoy looking at it... then I don't know. Wrap it up tight and put it away.

It's been a long time since I've seen a good one, and this might be a spell check error, but the police blotter had this "8:49 pm, animal complain,. Caller reports finding a small (5 lb) white and gray Shiatsu dog. Shaved down to the tail"

The Find a Grave project goes on and one..... But I'm trying to take breaks because I don't really want to sit in front of my computer night after night adding info. Not int he summer. I'd rather be on FB. lol

I'm entering two paintings from my Tuesday class in an art show next week. I'm sure they won't win anything, they are unfinished in a way, but I like them. One is the male nude, one the summer hat lady. I just feel like I need to enter something.

I was going to post a few days ago about how good I've been feeling lately and now I'm starting to feel some off and on pain again. I can't tell if it's cramps or what. Very confusing. Very annoying and unpredictable.

Apparently Quirkytizzy was plagiarized en mass by someone who has multiple blogs. They stole whole entries of hers, and of other people on her friends list, and posted them as her own. How Mooselike. She's working on shutting them down, or at least forcing them to go private. What a wast of a life to have to take other people's posts and put them up as your own. It would be one thing to say "Hey this is a great post I found, so I'm reposting it to share" but they didn't credit anyone for the post, And people commenting on it thought it was hers/his. You wonder what kind of person does that... Oh, wait, I said already. Mrs Moose. The woman who took credit for inventing the Waxing story, You know, the one where the woman is using those waxing strips and gets stuck to the bottom of the tub? I'm sure you've seen it. Yeah, apparently that was Mrs Moose. Or so she claimed.

Well, enough for now... time to go to work.
