So, on my way to a private lesson on New Year's Eve, I heard a segment on NPR about this group of photographers who took part in a yearly photo project called "7:15".  Essentially, they took a picture every day of the year at 7:15pm and shared on their personal blogs.

After moving. E. and I went to the Dodger game.  Dogers v. Marlins.

It almost didn't happen.

Saturday morning I got my car washed.  I went to a place by our old Encino apartment and had the best experience ever.  They spent 90 minutes on my car and when they were done, my car looked super fly.  I totally over-tipped.

Last nite, I got home about 5 minutes after a shooting took place on my street.  When I got there, the police had just cordoned off the street and were still determining whether there was a murder involved.  I guess I really am getting out of here in time.

So, I just got back from my second trip to Ikea and I left $540 poorer.

woe is to me.

I did however get a kickass wardrobe, some cool ass drapes and roman blinds, a bitchin area rug, and some yummy candles. I got more stuff, but it gets a bit boring after the candles.

So, I only worked a half day at work yesterday and thank Jeebus I did.  Even though a good part of it was spent continuously sweating in my oven of an apartment, it was worth it.

I went to IKEA on Saturday and got soooo many great ideas for decorating my guest house.  I found the perfect Wardrobe and fell in love with Roman Blinds.

* Ex-Boyfriend gave me my belated birthday present over the weekend.  And it was worth the wait.  He got me....the DREAD PIRATE ROBERT'S SPECIAL EDITION PRINCESS BRIDE DVD!!!  :)  I'm absolutely stoked about this.  I wanted it sooooo bad.  So..a big hug and a thank you to him for the fantabulous b-day present.
