Wow, what a weekend (+)

Thursday I cleaned the whole house and did laundry including all the bedding. The only thing I didn't do was wash the floors. I'm waiting for some insane burst of nesting energy to carry me through a good floor scrubbing ;o).      Felicia (my niece) saw her pediatrician on Thursday and it isn't a relapse. She is still recovering from Kawasaki disease but that isn't what has her sick now. She has a pretty bad cold and her asthma is bad right now. She's going to school again but not full time. I think she's doing a full day, followed by a half day, then a full day.      I really look forward to Wednesdays now. Each week on Wednesday I read about my new week of pregnancy. Today I am 22 weeks. I don't want to rush through the pregnancy. I want to enjoy it and there is so much still to do. I'm just really excited about the baby's growth and development. It is fascinating.

     I'm 19 weeks today. I can't believe this time next week I'll be half way through my pregnancy. Wow. Baby is the size of a large mango or tomato depending on what source you are looking at. Around 6" long and half a pound. I still haven't felt any movements but that should start within the next few weeks.

     Friday morning Chris headed with his parents to visit their parents' cemeteries. We met up with them in downtown Baltimore for lunch at Fogo de Chao. Lunch was awesome! My dad loved it and so did everyone else. I certainly got in a great serving of protein. We stopped by Hard Rock Cafe for a drink before leaving the city.

The family reunion was great.
The detachment Thanksgiving was good, my pie took second place for presentation. Everyone loved it and the cornbread casserole.
We managed to have the house ready for guests before they arrived.

     I had a nice date with Chris this morning. Then I ran a couple of errands and when I checked the mail there were two letters from my hubby. It is nice to get snail mail  :o)
     I have sent out 2 requests for donations for the FRG to our family and friends. I just got a cheque from Chris' uncle. I was shocked at the amount and I'll be happy to ( Read more... )
