I survived bed rest. Well I had a big break on Saturday from it. It did help a lot with the swelling, but the swelling just came right on back. It's like the water from my feet drained up to my legs or something and made its way back down once I was vertical again. I need to get rid of the water, not just move it. Wow, what a weekend (+)

Thursday I cleaned the whole house and did laundry including all the bedding. The only thing I didn't do was wash the floors. I'm waiting for some insane burst of nesting energy to carry me through a good floor scrubbing ;o).      Friday we went out to dinner just to Pei Wei. You order at a counter there and some old lady cut in front of the line. She had asked us if we were in line, I said yes, just waiting for the hostess to come back and then she stepped in front of us. Who does that?!      We've had a great little visit with my parents. They arrived late afternoon on Friday. We got caught up and ate pizza for dinner, it was yummy! They love the nursery, it was the first thing my mom wanted to do after walking through the front door.

I'm not quite sure where time went...

But I'm suddenly in my third trimester! I am now 28 weeks 2 days. In about two and a half months Baby will be here! Wow. Time can slow down now. We haven't gotten serious about choosing a name yet. I can't believe we're slacking on one of the most important decisions we'll make for Baby's life.

     Chris was saying earlier today that it feels like he's been on leave. He got home from work early Friday morning and was off until this evening. Nice! He is napping now in preparation for tonight. I'm going to be busy myself tonight - prepping the nursery for painting!

     Over the weekend I got some great news - the bedding and other nursery items I ordered from Target have shipped! I was worried because they were out of stock and shipping late, then I noticed on the website that the items kept disappearing. There is still one item waiting to be shipped but it looks like the rest will be here soon!

     Last night we picked up the crib and dresser. Today I assembled the crib while Audrey supervised. It was easy to put together and I really like it. Plus the colours match up really well even though the dressing table is a different brand. I hope the glider matches just as nicely. I am 24 weeks today. I had a dream last night that I was drinking an alcoholic drink but it tasted like cream soda.
