Our garden is deliciously beautiful.  It's amazing to think that a little over two years ago it was scrubby lawn.  Now we are overflowing with flowers, green foliage, young vegetable plants and sweet wild strawberries (the only food ready to eat).  Soon, I hope, we'll be enjoying the MANY vegetables and fruits we've planted ( Read more... )

Much... or at least some... is being accomplished.  Today Kate and I went and posted notice about our proposed civil partnership.  The guy who interviewed us was very nice, but talked about a million miles a minute.  We now have 16 days for people to tell them any reasons we shouldn't be allowed to be civil partners and then that will be sorted for ( Read more... )

It was a fun, but draining weekend.  Lauril came to visit for a couple days on her way down to Spain, so Kate and I took her around London on a whirl-wind tour.  We got a late start, so it was really, very fast and mostly pointing out important places.

I had an application to drop off in London yesterday, so Kate and I made a day of it.  This required us getting up far too early in order to stop off along the way so I could pick up an application form for work in a Catholic school (of all places).  However, once my errands were done, we had a wonderful day.

So, 2303 words on the morality paper and, um, 261 on the jester paper.  Both have to be between 3500 and 5000 (I'm aiming for 4000ish).  So, progress is being made.  Sloooooow progress, but progress.
