No real progress - though have managed to get the mortgage advisor on the phone to let him know that the surveyor is not singing from the same sheet as the lender.

This week may be the most trying week so far.

I'm finding the whole experience almost unbearable, so I'll only write the brief version.

Basically we had the first survey back - in the main it was ok as I said in my last post.  No subsidence (*phew*) but some potential damp and timber problems were flagged.
