Went to the eye Dr. Getting new glasses and contact lenses. The vision in my right eye has gotten worse. Pretty much always my left eye was worse than the right, now the right eye is worse. Was working quite a lot. I had all of last week and this weekend off and been very busy. In between, someone from work would call and ask if I could work--to which I declined. In this post I mentioned having broken my eyeglasses in half. Haven't gotten to an eye Dr. as I have been working 12 hour shifts 6 nights a week due to being seriously short staffed at work. Still going to the fitness center, at least three times a week. Although I spend 2 hours on the elliptical machines and/or the treadmill and use the other various weight machines I am not making much progress getting in shape. Very discouraging. But I am not going to stop. Of course part of the problem is the pain. I take a Motrin 600 before I go ( Read more... )

A couple weeks ago I went to the eye doctor for the first time in 5 years. I was told our vision coverage is awesome, especially where glasses are concerned. Not so awesome in my opinion. Went back to the eye doc again. I told her the trouble I was having. That I much prefered the lenses I had in now 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately, they just don't make those in a size suitable for my eyes. So after more looking at the chart & adjustments, then trying to read close up she changed my right lens. It's better. I'm not liking these contact lenses. I prefer the ones I wore last week. I could see so much better. These are just giving me headaches. Last week I could across a parking lot, a 5 lane road & into another lot at some small writing on a truck. I could also sit & read a newspaper in front of me on the table. Now I can't do either.
