The final tally is in, and including my contribution to Helen’s Juilliard fund-we raised $1,233.00! That’s an entire month of tuition and living expenses paid up!  Way to go, internet!

Oh the joys of living in an old house.  I’ve learned more about boilers and radiators this winter than I thought I’d learn, well, ever.  Want to know why your radiator is making that sound?  Whether you have a sealed or unsealed pipe system?  How many PSI your boiler should be at?  I CAN TELL YOU WITH MY KNOWLEDGE.

I deleted last night's post about Amazon, as more facts have emerged. Right now, it does indeed look as if Amazon has pulled their direct sales link to all Macmillan titles over an asinine corporate dispute about e-book pricing. I was in New York over the weekend doing holiday shopping and catching up with my lovely agent, who remains lovely as ever.
