There really hasn't been anything going on lately, so I'm just not writing much. My birthday was uneventful. I went to court in the afternoon but my testimony ended up not being necessary, so I got paid to sit in the waiting room of family court for several hours and do nothing. They forgot to sing happy birthday to my kid for a second time. They did the same thing at Serra's birthday. You tell the hostess when you walk in that it's your kid's birthday, she tells you she'll take care of it, you shouldn't have to tell anyone else, right? Apparently you have to tell your server too. We had Serra's party today. Nine kids came. It went really well, she had a good time, the kids had a good time, the pinata was beaten to a pulp and asploded, sending 6lbs of candy and small toys flying. It's Friday! I'm still loving the job, it's great, even though I feel pretty useless right now. I'm really not doing much of anything, an that kinda sucks, but I am learning stuff, and that is good.
