This morning I got back to my routine. I spent 30 minutes on the elliptical after I got Serra off to the bus and before driving Emma to school. School was awesome for both girls. This year kid #2's teachers actually sent home their expectations! No shit! Along with homework due dates for the trimester! Woohoo! School starts tomorrow. Kid #2 just got out of the shower, kid #1 will be there in a half hour. Bedtime will be no later than 10pm. I'll be driving them to school, then off to Lithia to have the oil changed again, I've driven over 3,000 miles since the 1st of August. Wow. I decided to take the girls out to lunch to celebrate kid #1's first day of summer school and because we haven't gone out in a while. They didn't feel like Burger King, which is where we normally go for fast food, so instead we went to KFC/A&W. My mother has been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. The medication and change in diet that occurred after the diagnosis caused some hell on her digestive system, so that she ended up in the hospital Wednesday night.
