I'm back from Connecticut! I have lots of stuff to write about, but first I'll type up what I wrote in my notebook near the end of the bus trip down there.

McGill's second semester has started. I'm spending a fair bit of time at McGill today, to use the computers and to ask a question at the exchange office. It's rather odd and rather fun to be at uni when everyone but you has classes. I don't have to be anywhere, I can wander wherever I like, whenever I like. So, that was my last class at McGill. Done. Over. Only two assignments and two exams, then that's it for me at McGill.

It doesn't feel like classes are over. Perhaps that's because of the assignments, perhaps it's because today is Tuesday (McGill's timetabling is weird).

( Note how carefully I refrain from taking over people's friendslists one enormous rambling entry at a time! )

It's a capital city. Their parliament building is beautiful. We messed up the snow in front of it. I really love travelling with my two hostel-friends, they're so much fun to walk around with and talk to. I've put the pictures on my computer, but haven't managed to resize and upload them yet. I will do that at some point.

I've been getting some work done, amazingly enough! I'm probably at about the stage of prepared-ness that I should have been at a week ago.

I'm listing all the stuff I need to bring, from my laptop to my passports to my drop spindle.
