1759 Society chose to meet at Flying Saucer this month. I go there probably twice a year,
only to remind myself why I don't like the place. Open mind or not, it's the same result...

Pugdog and I started early at Trinity Hall in order to test-drive their new happy hour. It handled nicely with a decent cruising speed
and the brakes weren’t applied until later in the evening.

With many people on vacation, turnout was low for a 1759 Society meeting this time around.

Saturday was St. Baldrick’s Day - hosted at Trinity Hall Dallas. Raise money to fight cancer by having one’s head shaved.

To support a friend [in this case, Irish John], I won’t over-imbibe the night before, get up early and even go to the gym before 10am.

The madness begins again for the New Year at Trinity Hall. The end of 2009 the group lay dormant but the hardcore came out on this
horribly rainy night to decimate Trinity’s taps.

Every once in a while, I get a taste of what life was like when I could schedule my friends and I to get together in advance. Add to that sleeping late as this demon needs plenty of slumber. A large wedding tent adorned Trinity Hall’s patio and luckily, it wasn’t on my behalf. Marius, disguised as pint toting civilian, came over to chat about the state of affairs regarding beer in Texas. I’m always glad to have informed people to chat about beer with as it gives me a feeling of hope for mankind.

It was all “Official Party Business” as Trinity Hall covered every detail hosting the Dallas 1759 Society’s second anniversary party. People forget that Trinity Hall has all the big games, including American football. Due to the Cowboys game there were about 30-40% less people at the pub last night. This made things more relaxed than usual for all involved.
