A couple weeks ago, I composed a very funny (IMO, anyway!) lj entry about why super glue is a mom's best friend. I was in the shower at the time and of course didn't come to the computer right away when I was finished, so now I can't really even remember what was so amusing about it. Got home last night. So nice to sleep in my own bed even if it was just for two 2-hour segments. And Quinn cuddled with me for 45 minutes this morning before we went downstairs to have breakfast together. Some things you just don't realize you miss until you have to go without them.

I haven't been posting very often lately, partially because I'm afraid they'd all turn into whines (waaa! my butt hurts. waaa! my belly hurts. waaa! my son is driving me insane!), but I think mostly because my computer time has been absorbed by these three things:

Tomorrow morning I'm off to PA for the week. 4 days of conference in Lancaster and 2 days of being a tourist at Gettysburg. My parents and Quinn are driving down on Thursday to pick me up in Lancaster and then we'll go on to Gettysburg. It will be Quinn's first long car trip, and I'm going to miss most of it!
