Yesterday I brought the boys over to my parents' house to go swimming in the afternoon. Quinn news - he can recognize and spell his first word: zoo! He's really interested in letters and words. We're not pushing, but we do answer all of his questions. It wouldn't be surprising if he starts recognizing more words soon. Quinn can also really get around on his tricycle now - we went all the way around the circle of our street ( Read more... )

Today we wend to Southwick's Zoo for the first time. We were supposed to meet several other families but unfortunately only one other family showed up. But that was ok, Quinn and Miles each had one other child their own age to play with and they all seemed to have a good time. Miles finally went in for his 15 month appointment today - just a few weeks late.... He weighed in at 21 pounds even and 31.5 inches. So he gained about 2 pounds and 1.5 inches in the last 3 months. Yay! The doctor is happy with his progress - even though he's still at the bottom of the weight chart, his weight has been consistently increasing ( Read more... )

My sister's wedding is quickly approaching (9 days to go!) so fortunately, Miles's clothes arrived today!
