Bear & J2's trip to KY went well. They had fun, aside from Delta screwing up the second leg of their flight so that they didn't leave Cincinnati until 4:50pm instead of by lunchtime. Lenae had her 6 month checkup today (although she was 6 months on Saturday the 13th).

Weight:  14 lbs, 8 oz  (up from 13lbs 6oz at 4 months) - 40th percentile
Height:  27 inches (up from 25 3/4 inches at 4 months) - 90th percentile
Head circumference:  I didn't get the # but it's on the same track it has been (aka normal).

Lenae has officially cut her first tooth - bottom left - with the bottom right tooth coming in right behind.  I noticed Friday when my FIL was over to pick up the boys for the weekend.  Lenae wouldn't let him hold her (screamed and screamed) so I had to sit her in my lap facing him so he could play with her a bit.  She decided to nibble on my thumb ( Read more... )

Lenae hasn't had a drop of formula since the 14th.  Bear wanted to experiment with taking away her 4-oz bottle of formula and subbing baby food instead.  We have a much, much happier baby and a bit less spitup, although you can tell her meds don't help much (especially towards the end of the dosing schedule).  The Prevacid is a pain to give to her ( Read more... )

Weight:  13 lbs, 6 oz  (up from 10lbs 8oz at 2 months) - 50th percentile
Height:  25 3/4 inches (up from 23 3/4 inches at 2 months) - 90th percentile
Head circumference:  16 1/4 inches (up from 15 inches).
