It suddenly occurs to me that Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country has become my newest comfort movie. I've got it on right now, in the background while I'm knitting. Ever since I got The Letter I've been slowly collapsing as all the stress in my body has been letting go finally. The actual residency permit card came yesterday morning, and today I just slept and slept. It's sooo nice.

tea_drinker77  gave me £20 in John Lewis gift vouchers for my birthday, and I've been waiting for the post-Xmas sales to try and buy a sweater or cardigan's worth of Rowan yarn.
