These days, I have been walking the city like anything, especially Camp.  I met with Fahimbhai the other day, who owns one of the 25-odd mutton shops at Shivaji Market, and Akbarchacha who sells local eggs outside the market and said goodbye to them.  They are people I regularly socialised with to understand their point of view of life and other ( Read more... )

And, he is the Zero Stone watchman in Poona.  Selling water melons there as a boy on the pavement beside the Zero Stone for 20 years, this man had been significantly reminded of the importance of the stone very few times only.  His photograph  had been published in a Poona heritage book.  He recalled that he had been photographed many years ago and ( Read more... )
