I've been studying. Actually studying. Not just half-heartedly flipping through notes or frantically searching through textbooks for stuff that won't make my weekly lab reports sound too dumb. Still recovering from the Eclipse movie experience. At least I managed not to stab my eyes out and burst my own eardrums. But the first scene was all it took to wish I could.

Na'im came over for a visit earlier. It's ridiculous how nervous I was about it, but I think he was at least as nervous as I was. And the verdict is out: a complete tear of my ACL (anterior cruciate ligament). Apparently I have a grade II injury to my MCL too. But the ACL tear's more serious by far...recovery is going to take about 6 to 9 months.
