Summary:(bear with me) Shige(age 14) is a very intelligent yet introverted and shy boy, and Ryo(age 17) is popular, unmotivated jerk who doesn't care about school. When Ryo is failing his classes and is in danger of not graduating, he goes to Shige for help. Shige tutors him in academic subjects, and Ryo helps Shige with his image and his inability to talk to girls. Though, what happens when unexpected feelings begin to emerge, and things begin to go in the opposite direction of what they truly want?

Chapter 15: A New Beginning
Shige awoke slowly and groggily, looking around Ryo's bedroom and smiling, seeing that what happened the previous night was in fact not a dream. He looked lovingly at Ryo, who still had his arms around him, and his heart swelled and fluttered at the sight. He reached over and stroked Ryo's face gently to not wake him up from what looked like a peaceful sleep judging from the soft, gentle expression on his face. He kissed him gently before moving Ryo's arm off of him and sitting up, blushing wildly realizing that they were both still naked. He put his pants on quickly and looked around for his shirt, with no luck.
Where the hell did he throw that thing?
He froze and his head shot back when he heard a deep, raspy "nngh..." coming from the bed. Ryo rubbed his eyes and sat up, looking expectantly at Shige.
"Why'd you get up?" he groaned, grasping one side of his head painfully, and Shige figured it was the after-effects of the alcohol.
Shige smiled and looked at him as if the answer was obvious. "We have work in like an hour..we have to get ready."
Ryo made a disgusted face and groaned something that sounded like a "noooo" as he flopped back on the bed, annoyed at having to go to work, not feeling well, but mostly disappointed that he didn't wake up with Shige in his arms.
Shige laughed at this, and walked over to the bed, laying back down on it.
"Are you okay?" Shige asked, hand smoothing over Ryo's obviously awake face.
Suddenly, the problems plaguing Ryo's mind disappeared as he looked into Shige's smiling eyes before him. He remembered what had happened the night before and was enveloped in a wave of happiness as his heart fluttered and butterflies appeared in his stomach.
"I'm fine." Ryo smiled and pulled Shige in closer, kissing him tenderly.
"Good Morning.." he said softly.
"Morning~"Shige giggled.
"Do we really have to go to work today?" Ryo pleaded.
"Yeah..you have a shoot, remember?"
Ryo sighed dejectedly and nodded. "But you're not gonna be there, it's with the other photographer and his shitty intern.."
Shige smiled and shook his head. "I'll be around..I have a shoot with Jiji and Tegoshi-kun."
Ryo rolled his eyes at the sound of their names and sat up, leaning over Shige to get his boxers on the floor and he put them on, getting out of bed.
Shige looked at him curiously. "What?"
"I don't like them...they're always hanging all over you...I just don't like it." Ryo said lowly, fumbling with the clothes in his closet before he grabbed an outfit and walked into the bathroom, shutting the door.
Shige looked at the closed door, confused and a bit upset. Why is he mad at me all of a sudden?
He walked over to the window and opened the curtains, looking out at the gorgeous view. He looked out worriedly, hoping and wondering if everything would actually work out between them.
Shige was lost in thought and didn't even realize Ryo had come out of the bathroom until Ryo stood behind him and slid his hands from Shige's lower back to his belt buckle, pulling him close.
Shige could feel that Ryo's breathing was ragged as he softly mumbled "I'm sorry..." into his ear.
"It's okay.." Shige said softly, placing his hands over Ryo's assuringly. "You can talk to me about anything you know that right?"
"Well.." Ryo started "It's just that...seeing them with you makes me remember how hard it was to not be able to approach you as easily as they could...how hard it was not being able to hold you, or hug you...even though I wanted to so badly.."
Shige interlocked one of their hands and leaned back farther into Ryo's chest. "I know..but...things are different now. You don't have to worry about them...I'm yours, remember? All yours.."
The fluttering sensation returned and took over both of their bodies as they pressed the sides of their faces together, breathing in sync.
"It feels so good to hear you say that babe.." Ryo sighed. "God..I love you so much.."
Shige melted into the embrace and closed his eyes, the feeling of happiness overflowing from every part of his soul.
"I love you too, Ryo."
They both knew in that moment that no matter what happened in their lives, nothing would ever seperate them.

2 months have passed since the night Nishikido Ryo and Kato Shigeaki got back together. The first month was hard because they had to go through the process of telling everyone about them. Koyama Keiichiro, Shige's best friend, was ecstatic at the news (though was shocked at first when Shige told him flat out that he had gotten back together with Ryo and had slept with him as well). He became the first to accept them. Next came their parents. Shige's mom was happy to hear it, saying she knew from "mother's intuition" that Shige had always liked Ryo as something more than a friend. His father followed suit, saying he was happy as long as Shige was happy. Ryo's parents were harder to crack. At first, his father laughed it off as a joke and his mother was confused. It was hard for both Ryo and Shige during that time, but slowly Ryo's mother accepted it, seeing the smile in Ryo's eyes when he looked at Shige. His father eventually accepted it as well, and Shige has plans to have dinner with the 2 of them soon. They told their workmates next. Yamashita pretty much knew since Ryo's little rampage so it was no surprise to him. Jiji and Tegoshi were disappointed, but they are happy for them nonetheless. Jiji has a boyfriend now so she is less clingy now, but is still as much of an airhead as before. Tegoshi still clings to Shige and they have become good friends. Shige has moved out of his parents' house and is now living with Ryo in his apartment. Also, a few days ago, Shige was called in to Yokada's office and was told that due to great feedback by the photographer, and a lot of begging from Ryo, Jiji and Tegoshi, they wanted to hire him as an official employee, to resume being the photographer's assistent. With excitement, Shige accepted and is now working hard in college so he can graduate and become a full-time photographer.

Ryo walked all over the building looking for Shige who was nowhere to be found. Where the fuck is that boy? Ryo thought, getting impatient and a bit worried. After 3 times around the whole building he found Shige lying on his back on the carpet of an empty room reading some long book.
"Why are you here?" Ryo sighed and walked in.
Shige looked over at him and smiled. "I'm on break and I have to read this for school. Jiji won't shut up about the date she went on yesterday..so I couldn't sit in the lobby...I tried the kitchen but Massu kept trying to get me to try his new creations...this was the only place I could find that was quiet."
Ryo walked over and laid next to him, laying his head on his chest and wrapping his arm across his stomach.
"I looked all over for you and I didn't know where you were..." Ryo pouted, nuzzling Shige's chest.
"Aww I'm sorry....what's wrong?" Shige said, taking one hand off his book and rubbed Ryo's back.
"I missed you.." Ryo said lowly, tightening his hold.
Shige smiled and chuckled a bit. You are so cute, Ryo. "Wanna lay here with me?"
Ryo lifted his head and adjusted himself, moving up and kissing Shige deeply. The kiss continued for a few minutes before Ryo pulled away and smiled, returning to his previous position laying his head on Shige's chest so he could hear his heart beat. He nuzzled it again and wrapped his arm around.
"I have to make a cake later for my mom's birthday tomorrow..you wanna help me?" Shige asked, rubbing his hand up and down Ryo's back.
"Sure." Ryo replied softly.
After a few minutes, Ryo fell asleep and Shige continued to read his book as he continued rubbing Ryo's back with his free hand.

"..and 2 eggs." Shige shouted over to Ryo who was standing at the refrigerator holding a bunch of ingredients.
Ryo stumbled over to the table and dropped everything there. Baking was not his thing.
Despite some shaky moments, they got the cake in the oven with not much trouble.
"Soo..." Ryo said as he closed the oven door. "We have 25-27 minutes...what should we do?"
"Well..." Shige started. "We could make homemade icing while we wait..or we could use store bought icing and make out on the couch instead..." he smirked.
Ryo looked as though he was contemplating it. "Hmm...let's see...fuck homemade. There's nothing wrong with store bought."
"I agree. Couch it i-"
Before Shige could finish the sentence, Ryo pulled him close and kissed him passionately, moving them both over to the couch where he lied Shige down and got on top of him. They kissed, grinded, touched all over...the usual, but just as things really..really started to heat up...
*BUZZ*
The buzzer rang.
"Fuck you, you..nngh.. piece of shit buzzer." Ryo wanted to kill the thing. "You're supposed to be a timer..yet you have horrible timing..." Ryo groaned, not wanting to get up and ice a cake of all things.
Shige just laughed and continued sucking on Ryo's collarbone for a minute before he pushed Ryo off, saying they had to get it out.

Once the cake was iced, Shige was attempting to teach Ryo how to line the top and sides with whipped cream, but Ryo didn't have the patience. Shige didn't either, especially with the look Ryo was giving him..but he had to hold out.
"That's a pretty sloppy job there..." Shige criticized, trailing his finger across the edge trying to smooth out the mistake.
"I don't care.." Ryo said frustratedly, grabbing Shige's hand and licking the whipped cream off of Shige's finger.
"Ehhohh..." Shige muttered incoherently, losing control quickly as Ryo sucked on his finger looking at him suggestively as if he wanted to repeat the said action on something else. "Good enough, I can fix it later.."
Ryo smirked and took the finger out of his mouth and pulled Shige's hand towards the bedroom. "That's what I was saying."
They flopped on the bed sloppily and started to continue what the buzzer had interrupted earlier, but this time at a quicker and more heated pace. After they removed their shirts, Ryo stopped suddenly as he got an idea. Shige protested as Ryo got up and left the room.
"Ryo!" Shige yelled.
"Calm down..I have an idea.." he said, walking back in the room shaking the can of whipped cream.
Shige raised an eyebrow as dirty thoughts flooded his mind, but he decided to play dumb."What...idea?"
Ryo straddled Shige's hips and popped open the can. He squeezed it from one shoulder to the next and then proceeded to lick it off as Shige moaned softly.
"You like that, huh? I'm practicing my icing."
Shige smiled and took the can from Ryo's hand. "On one condition..." he said, pushing Ryo off and sitting up.
"What?" Ryo asked impatiently.
Shige smirked and squeezed a line of whipped cream down Ryo's neck and licked it off. He looked back at a stunned Ryo and licked his lips deliciously.
"As long as I get to do it too...I mean..even teachers need practice."

Most things become different with time...just as the time passes from season to season, from the leaves falling in autumn to snowflakes and sleigh rides in the winter...from flowers in the spring, to beaches in the summer. But some things, like the person you love, remain the same no matter how much time passes. And then you start to think..maybe you can't get this person out of your heart because this person is meant to be there.The same thing occurred with Shige and Ryo...no matter what happened between them, their hearts were intertwined and they were destined to be together ever since that day Shige entered Inoue-sensei's 7th period English class that one day. Feelings of true love never really disappear...they might hide behind scars of hurt..they might be suppressed by chains of unacceptance..but they never truly leave your heart.
Because no matter what obstacles they are faced with...
