over spring break,
i decided it would be an awesome idea if i went home.

and that now, one of them is no longer with us.

and i'm here in fucking tallahassee, because i'm selfish.

mardi gras is tomorrow.
and kimi and rachel will be here soon, i hope.

but, honestly, i'm not half as excited as i should be.

i got a bid from Alpha Kappa Psi tonight
and i don't think i could be much happier.

the only thing that would make this better is if
my best friends were here to see me be "inducted" into 
something that i wanted more than most things in my life.

sometimes, it's easy to believe that good things happen to good people.

i had my akpsi interview tonight.
it went...well.
