Last weekend, I celebrated my birthday. Chris, Jeff, Tim, Katherine, Heather, Gary, Rhonda, Alfredo and I went to Sound-Bar to see BT spin. I had never been there before and it was nicely decorated. I've officially settled in now, and living in the city is pretty cool. I moved in December 1 - Alfredo, his uncle, and his dad moved me in. Since I was still taking classes out at CLC, I was staying at his house during the week and coming back here on the weekends. The trip to Jersey was alright, but not exactly what I expected.

went to Seaside and had a blast on the boardwalk / rides
attempted to drink a whole fishbowl
got a decent tan

I went to Kristina's yesterday. We were going to play tennis, but instead hit up the semi-annual sale at Victoria's Secret. We watched trashy reality TV at her house and gossiped. She made tofu and bean sprout wraps with spinach and hummus (white people hummus - not the authentic stuff). I liked the bean sprouts, but tofu is disgusting. It wasn't ( Read more... )

Tonight is my "not going away" party. I realized that I only had 12 credits left to get my AA - a lab biology course and three electives. I'll graduate in December. I'm going to request a deferment from DePaul to start next year, but I'm not convinced that will be where I'm going - wherever life takes me ( Read more... )

It's been a week since my grandma passed away. I was so special to her that she waited for me, until I got there to say my final goodbyes, and I don't think that it was a coincidence.

today i got a call from my mom, and she was crying.. i asked her what was wrong, and she didn't say anything.. so i said "is it grandma?" she said yeah, but that my grandma is still alive.. the priest already read her last rites to her.. i'm flying out there tomorrow night
