I haven't updated in here for a long time. I've been updated on MySpace pretty regularly, but I think I'm going to officially abandon livejournal. It's not bad, I just couldn't get that into it, it's easier for me to post things where I already check anyway. I'm not saying it's identical to pop art, but it's identical to pop art.
First order of business! I just found out Tuesday that there is going to be a show at the UNI gallery of the foundations (beginning) art classes. Everyone taking a foundations studio class, which includes Drawing I, Drawing II, 2D Concepts, and 3D concepts, will have a piece from each class in the show. I should be doing homework right now. I have a ton of it. But instead, it's after midnight and I've wasted every free moment of my day so far and I still can't make myself actually do something. Your smile's on fire.
Today I got my scores back from my group speech, and they were As. I was very happy about that, along with the rest of my group. The teacher wrote on our sheets that it looked like we were having fun as a group even when we were doing our speech, and we were. I'll kind of miss it, but not in the sad way, more of the reminiscent way ( Read more... ) -

Fifth Entry
Most things since I last wrote have been less than ideal, but not everything, so I'm still keepin' on keepin' on. By the time my birthday came around, I had stopped caring about it all together. Thursday- In drawing class, we went to the wellness center and sat on a balcony and drew the lap pool room. During the time that we were working on our drawings, our teacher was planning on pulling each of us aside to talk about what our strengths are, what we should work on, and what our grade would be right now if she had to give us one. I have not yet used livejournal, but I was told I should get one, so I did. I'm very susceptible to that kind of thing. That kind of thing being-suggestions that aren't peer pressure related.
