7. Grave Peril by Jim Butcher. In book three of the Dresden Files, Harry has to figure out why the Nevernever is going nuts. It introduces Lea, a Leannán Sidhe, Michael, a warrior/Knight of God and Charity, Michael's wife. Charity is all kinds of awesome. Not enough Murphy and I hate what happens to her besides. 6. Only Begotten Daughter by James Morrow I found this book on this site under "satire" and thought I'd give it a try. It's supposed to be a satire of Christianity in which the main character is Jesus' half-sister.

4. The Painted Bird by Jerzy Kosinski This book's got everything: child abuse, bestiality, intelligent Communists, a man literally gouging the eyes of his wife's lover out with spoons and a really confusing ending.

I went out and bought an external hard drive yesterday. My games and media--mostly games--were using up most of my space. Also, I was tired of alternating games by uninstalling ones I haven't played in a while and installing ones I want to play. But now I don't have to. Yay! This sucker is tiny, too. My portfolio presentation went well. I had to explain a few things as I went along, but I forgot the major thing, which is that Speak is in first person, so the reader only knows a student as IT (I won't spoil it in case anyone wants to read it, which I highly recommend) until the very end.
