Since my last relationship, I've declared Romance to be an irrational and terrible thing. So it seems a great deal of my knowledge is implicit. I've not seen it as a problem until now - I can still use it to make good decisions. But as it is implicit, it's completely useless at making good *explanations*. If I don't know what my explanations are, how can I improve them?

I'll say it - when I were a lad, the world was a more optimistic place. We had people like Optimus Prime roaming the streets giving kids advice, not ads saying "If you drink or steal, your life WILL BE RUINED". I got two texts this morning to inform me my cat died in her sleep last night. It's a little upsetting - which is more of an observation than a feeling, since it's not one I'm going to let effect me. People should be more open about it when they dislike someone. They usually hide it, though they may make unpleasant comments to the person or make a point of not being decent to them in certain ways. But they're usually very polite to them, which can make it harder to tell if a person *does* actually like you, or can lead to unpleasant situations ( Read more... )
