More snow. Please stop. Global warming anyone?

It's cold outside.

Every morning as I drive to the farm where I work I pass a family of turkey's. There is an adult and several juveniles. Today, as I rounded the corner, I was thinking about the turkey family. More of the same I suppose. Feeling apathetic (a tad). Or jaded (just a bit). My job is tearing me up. And I would quit. Except it just doesn't work that way anymore. I have run away from the heat and thunderstorms of south carolina and am starting to buckle down the fort and prepare for winter in Maine. My twin and I visited my grandparents over the weekend. I know it's hot here in SC. I know that. But I don't think it justifies all the overpriced easily torn outfits. I go walking for an hour or more a day. Its my get over the fact that I work inside therapy. Usually, it's jeans and a t-shirt. or carhartts and a tshirt. Some times I get fancey and put on a tank top. I started my summer job on Monday here in SC. Apparently theres something called African Sleeping sickness. It's a pretty nasty disease. That is caused by a really nasty microscopic single celled parasite called a trypanosome. Inside the trypanosome are two enzymes (amoung other things). We don't know what one of them does. This weekend was good, tiresome, startling, and lovely. I went to NCOR, but somehow didn't end up registering or going to a workshop. Saturday we intended to but ended up at the Natural History Museum, and were a few minutes late to the aforementioned workshop.
