Got the call from mom 10 minutes before Steve stopped by to let me know that Dad has prostrate cancer. Kind of put my mood a little off. Good news is that as a cancer its very slow growing (not a bad cancer to pick if you could pick one) but the word Cancer is not one of my favorites.

Ok .. less bitter (deciding it wasn't my fault)

But Sun RIF'ed Whit Diffie. (I was coping with my friend Jim and a Sutherland - both Sun Fellows- but this does not match my world order) Everything is broken I can't comprehend it. This time no one was safe.

My mood is sitting at a state of low level anxiety for a week now. I'm tired of it since it seems to leave me hiding in my house and sleeping more than expected (even with the expected addition of a new drug which is supposed to knock me out when combined with the lunesta ( Read more... )

Survived having a small group of Gin-ophytes over for blind-tasting, well ... gin last night. Obviously had too much fun because I was so worn out that I managed to fall asleep when I got home from some Sunday afternoon plans and slept through my Sunday Evening plans ( Read more... )
