I'm putting the finishing touches to decoration for my August 6th marquee wedding. We decided ages ago that we wanted to use bunting but due to not confirming marquee dimensions until quite recently I'm having to sort out bunting now which is a bit stressful!

I'm planning on creating my own backdrop. Hopefully it will turn out well. My question is what color should I use? My wedding colors are ivory and green. If I have an ivory backdrop for my head table my dress wont show too well. it will blend in? or so what I think. What do you ladies think? and what color would you choose? black, brown?

I am having some serious centerpiece overload. I've got tons of ideas that are all completely different, but the one I am liking the best right now is *edible centerpieces". i finished the design for our table cards last night. They will just be printed on cardstock and then tent-folded to place on each table.

Has anyone used (or plans to use) paper lanterns to decorate at the reception? I've seen a few websites that sell the lanterns, but there are so many different kinds (different kinds of paper, different sizes) that I'm wondering what worked for you. Any tips or links would be greatly appreciated!
