I'm surprised at how well my return to work has gone. My boss still won't let me lift a finger - she keeps me at my seat doing research and projects like that. Which is more than fine with me. First day back at work - got a ton of hugs from my co-workers. And my bosses! The big boss is so worried I'll get ill again that she won't allow me to lift anything. If I want a file or a box of stuff I have to ask someone else in the department to get it for me. Anyhow - I spent most of the day alphabetizing stuff and taking files apart. ( Read more... )

As glad as I am to be getting out of the house and feeling like a regular human being again, I'm not looking forward to going back to my job. I mean, most of the people are great (with a few exceptions as you find everywhere), but the environment that I work in is mentally toxic.
