The triumphant return
First day back at work - got a ton of hugs from my co-workers. And my bosses! The big boss is so worried I'll get ill again that she won't allow me to lift anything. If I want a file or a box of stuff I have to ask someone else in the department to get it for me. Anyhow - I spent most of the day alphabetizing stuff and taking files apart. Tomorrow should be better work wise as I get back into the swing of things.
And something I've discovered - I seem to do most of my writing on my lunch breaks at work. I've had a bit of writer's block while sitting at home, but on my lunch today I wrote (by hand) a page and a half of a new fiction that I've been trying to start for several months. I guess writing is my escape from the hell that is my job - and maybe my home life isn't so bad if I don't need the fantasy world of my fictions to get me through.
