Hello all! I finally feel up to posting again. It's been a rough couple of weeks, but things are improving.

I have to be at the hospital at 8:30 tomorrow morning. The time waiting went fast, but I'm glad it's finally here. I can get it over with and stop worrying. Although I'm really not looking forward to the pain ( Read more... )

I'm officially scheduled for surgery on January 18th. It could prove to be a complicated surgery, too. Apparently the CAT scan showed that my intestines may be stuck to the underside of the mesh because of scar tissue. I'm trying not to stress out too much over this, but I'm really incredibly nervous ( Read more... )

Yes, I know. I haven't posted in a very long time again. I wanted to, but my health took such a downturn that I didn't have the mental energy to either post or keep up with everyone.

I'm surprised at how well my return to work has gone. My boss still won't let me lift a finger - she keeps me at my seat doing research and projects like that. Which is more than fine with me. Things seem to be a lot less stressful in the department, too. There are still a few areas that need to be taken care of yet, but it's nearly a nice ( Read more... )
