I woke up at 4:30 from a nightmare that my elder son was dead. His new college girlfriend is being stalked by an abusive ex and he is a White Knight in Training and making noise about confronting the stalker. Hence the nightmare.

 My still-husband and son arrive tomorrow. I will become a single mother in most ways, responsible for helping my boy adjust to all the changes he will face in the next few years. Growing adults is hard work; eldest is off to college, youngest is back under my wing. So much still up in the air.
