I saw The Avengers today and loved it but don't have much to say on it yet aside from this: Given how much of Tony Stark's talk is technobabble and recent cultural references, Stark must sound like "Blah blah blah blah blah, old man. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah," to Captain America a lot of the time.

Today I read the graphic novel Ultimate Comics Spider-Man: Death of Spider-Man and enjoyed it even as the end made me cry, but it left me with a major question: ( spoiler )

So far I've seen two episodes of Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes! and been enjoying it. While you don't need to be familiar with the Avengers' and Marvel's canon to watch the series, older fans can get a lot of "a-ha!" moments as the plots update and show off some really old continuity, some of which goes back to the 1960s-80s.
