I saw The Avengers today and loved it but don't have much to say on it yet aside from this: Given how much of Tony Stark's talk is technobabble and recent cultural references, Stark must sound like "Blah blah blah blah blah, old man. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah," to Captain America a lot of the time.

Like Cap opening up that panel and not being able to tell Tony more than "...it seems to run on electricity."

I sometimes wonder what movieverse Cap thinks of Brooklyn hipsters, like the type who make or buy $10 tiny bags of granola and grow Victorian-like beards.

I think they've sheltered Cap from all that. At least, if they want him under their thumb they've sheltered him. I don't actually know this because I haven't seen the Cap movie. I suppose I really ought to.
