15 years ago, Alan Rickman starred in a video by the Scottish band Texas, and now's he doing it again. This time he even speaks (and sings). He certainly has a sense of rhythm.

I only know a few of Mando Diao's songs and never really liked them but today we listened to this song in Swedish class. I understood about ten words :( but I think the song is rather amazing. :) I might need to buy their CD.

I don't watch football but since the "real EM song" was filmed at the local stadium, I can't help but support it. It's called "Hau dem Lukas". And the name the artists chose for themselves - "Herr Engedeck" - speaks for itself. Apparently, they came up with the idea for the song when they were drunk.

In Germany there's this discussion about what constitutes art that comes up time and again. Particularly if, as it just happened a few days ago, a cleaningwoman destroys the installation of a contemporary artist by giving it a good scrub because she didn't recognise it as art ( Read more... )
