As seen on my friends' list:

15 years ago, Alan Rickman starred in a video by the Scottish band Texas, and now's he doing it again. This time he even speaks (and sings). He certainly has a sense of rhythm.

Yes, the video is great but I actually also like the song very much, which I can't say about all of Texas' songs.

I wonder what kind of dog it is. I don't think I've ever seen such a dog.

Can't see the video here but saw a bit yesterday and I think it was an Irish Wolfhound?
I've always liked Texas's music but no idea what the video is all about.
The In Demand video was what kickstarted my AR fandom all those years ago.

Yes, now that I've seen some pictures I suppose it could be an Irish Wolfhound or, as beffeysue mentioned, a Scottish Deerhound.
