All good things must come to an end, and so it is with my lovely vacation.

It makes me happy to walk into my much-improved kitchen. In addition to the aforementioned titivations, I took everything off the back of the stove and wiped it down. And wiped down the mirror behind the stove, although it's streaky---I didn't find the glass cleaner until late in the process and by then, everything was back in place. Today has been deluxe...I deposited my check and went across the street to Payless. I didn't go too crazy---just two pairs: sweet red and white striped wedges and great little flats, black patent with black and white plaid.
