Today, at length
All good things must come to an end, and so it is with my lovely vacation.
Today was quite productive. I breakfasted, as usual, during WNTW. Didn't make it through the second ep; instead, I plugged DeVour into my DVD player and got to work on my bedroom. I cleared the aisle between my bed, cedar chest and the bathroom---wow, that looks so much more spacious!
During the 6 PM showing of WNTW, I got creative with some ground sirloin (on sale, $3 a pound at WalMart last Friday). Had dinner, plus I have two sealed containers for later consumption.
At 9, I returned to my bedroom labors and spent Criminal Minds and an ep of NCIS clearing away the clothes piled on my cedar chest and hanging on my bedroom door. Mind you, the other side of my bed is still dreadful, the bed itself is still a foot deep in boxes, I'll need to clear away before sleep, but for now I'm savoring the sense of accomplishment I feel.
And besides, I still have 14 hours and change before I have to head in to work. Minus sleep time, about 7 hours....
