I have become obsessed with facebook. Checking every 30 seconds or so to see if anyone else has added anything to my wall or tagged me as a friend. Mission accomplished! She only cried for two minutes and then they were reading stories and playing playdough for the next 3 hours. I was very happy that everything went so well. Hello again. I have recently been bumped to graveyard shift, which will be commencing, in a cruel stroke of irony, on Mother's Day! Well once again it is friday, which counts as my saturday and I have let my daughter watch an hour of catoons because I am so freaking tired. Last week I had a molar out and the big hole healed up nicely but the tooth next to it hurts like a bastard. Hi there. Just went out with some coworkers to the Brew Pub. Lots of laughs were had. It was a strange week at work. A coworker who had lately fallen ill decided it was better to end it all then be sick. That makes two former coworkers to commit suicide within a few months. I hope they are in a better place and at peace. Later.

I can't believe Christmas is over AGAIN! By all acounts, a pretty successful one. We had all the family, husband's and mine, over for christmas afternoon/dinner/evening, and it was good. Well, this is a fine kettle of fish. I had my dr appointment on thursday and was told that my cholesterol was thru the roof and I was on the verge of diabetes. Yay! So I am really screwed! I have now begun a complete overhaul of my diet/lifestyle. I think it will take some getting used to, but knowing that certain foods just aren't an option ( Read more... )

Good news first: I have been given permanent full time by my job. Even though the hours were usually equivalent to full time, the extra holiday pay and all the rest is nice.
