When I went to see Tangled over Thanksgiving with the family, I saw a poster for Cowboys & Aliens. My first thought was "That is going to be a really awesome tongue in cheek comedy or a really terrible parody."

One of the things miome and I did was set up the Wii so that we can stream movies from Netflix. This is an awesome service. Especially since we don't have cable and I happily watch every episode of Mythbusters ever made. Now I can feed my addiction and pay less than $10 a month (as opposed to $50+ a month for cable ( Read more... )

(Re)watched Stargate, the movie. Wow. The guy who played Daniel looks so damn young in the movie. miome had completely forgotten that MacGuyver did not play Col. O'Neil. Found this through miss_arelI had heard about this documentary when it was being made back in 2005. I always wanted to see it, but never got around. Someone so nicely put it up on Google Videos.
