Seattle librar was really cool, although architect sounds like a wanker. They had several large cabinets of sheet music, very diverse selection. After that we met for lunch and went to a sushi place, which was relatively cheap and very delicious. Had reg tuna, albacore and salmon, all very fresh and colorful. I mentioned awhile back that I was having the persistent, low-grade headaches. Dropping caffeine didn't fix the problem, turned out I really needed new glasses! So, now I have them, and all is well.

So, I've got Steam installed and working, and Portal is pretty fun! It does cause heat issues, but not too badly. I was able to play at least 45 minutes without things going critical. After shutting it down I did have to restart the network once ( Read more... )

Last night, I finally upgraded to snow leopard. Re-installed, really, I never trust an OS upgrade process. I'm hoping this allows me to eke out better performance, especially flash apps.
