I have finally finished watching season 2 of Teen Wolf. My opinion is this: fire all the writers and the camera crew, but keep all the actors. I am watching a group of ghost hunters on a show. It's kind of creepy (I really should not watch this when I'm alone, but that has never stopped me). I happen to love NHK World, which I could happily watch all day long. I think one of my favorite shows is called Cool Japan. What they do is pick a theme (like "Fruit" or "Souvenirs") and then have a panel of people from a wide variety of countries. I have a bad feeling that fanfic is once again going to get me sucked into another series.

In this case, it'll be USA White Collar. Time to add it to my Netflix list and see what it's like. Sigh.

So one of the things I've been watching on Netflix is the A-Team. Watching it is something of a cultural shock. I mean, I knew things had changed in the nearly 30 years since it came out (1983 was the first season), but you don't realize just how much until you watch it.

I just found the Hogfather as a 2 episode mini-series done by... some one. Possibly the BBC. I don't even care. It's the Hogfather.

One of the things miome and I did was set up the Wii so that we can stream movies from Netflix. This is an awesome service. Especially since we don't have cable and I happily watch every episode of Mythbusters ever made. The thing I like best about watching Design Star: Hollywood after the season is over is that I can watch it without having to buy cable TV and at my own pace. So if I want to watch 2-3 episodes a night to find out who's getting kicked off next, I can. No need for cliffhangers ( Read more... )
