options for the evening:

- go see a friend from library school (who i haven't seen in months) drum with his new band

- catch up on the tivo and drink jack daniels, keeping up the buzz i have from happy hour

- keep drinking, watching tv, and attempting to play the bass

i have such dilemmas.

i spent the 2 months prior to the election in 2004 bumming around europe, often declaring to people in pubs (when asked, which was often) that i had, in fact, voted for kerry, as i had voted for gore in 2000 (my mother made sure i got my absentee ballot for virginia, and i mailed it in plenty of time). i watched one of the debates that year ( Read more... )
