Oh my God! It seems like I break personal records each time I run.

Tonight I ran bare-chested in the dark, about 9 pm, on a flat track. It was the first time I have run since Aug. 7 (about 3 weeks ago), when I ran 6 miles, NONSTOP, for the first time in my life. Then, it took 60:20 min (10:03 min/mile) to run 6 miles ( Read more... )

[Did 15 pull-ups. Haven't been able to do any since our July 15 Boot Camp workout. My left abs muscles are still sore, and I've felt a sharp pain there for almost 3 weeks, whenever I've tried to use my pull-up bar. Tonight it finally hurt less ( Read more... )

Ran 4 miles yesterday morning at Campbell Park. Was more tired than usual and stopped several times.

Silly me. I signed up for the San Jose Tennis Meetup for tonight but forgot that my tennis racket was back home in Belmont.

I drove to Saratoga anyway and found the tennis courts completely packed.

Thus I ran on the flat track instead. In the dark. Humidity is still 53% and uncomfortably sticky.

P.S. Two of my toes are black now, from my 16 mile skate. Under the toenails. The last time this happened, to both of my big toenails, it took a year for the original blackened nails to fall off and regrow.
